Chef Todd Mohr will boil shrimp heads and tails to create a shrimp boil, shrimp soup, or shrimp sauce from the cooking shrimp he got at the Koloa Fish Market. The flavorful shrimp stock he creates can be used to cook shrimp for shrimp cocktail. http://www.WebCookingClasses.com/blog

  • I'm a commercail fisherman in Alaska, and I was a Shrimper when the "freezing head-on" became the way. half the local boats either grind it by or stoped fishing. the other half got guys from japan to come, set up, and teach the new method. which when selling is twice the weight and more money(fresh due to blast freezing), (380% more $) and now is the only way to make a living, shrimping. Fresh shrimp comes from the docks, when the boats pull in!

  • Nice

  • great stuff Chef!

  • Great video! Thanks Chef!

  • love him

  • I love the ending of this video. You really can cook ANYTHING, ANYWHERE, if you take the time to learn a few cooking techniques, and basic knowledge of ingredients. Cookbooks are truly not needed, to become a real master of the kitchen. You are a true inspiration to us all, as always Todd. Hope you have a good and prosperous New Year.

  • Looks fantastic!! Thx for the post.

  • You're a great Chef. :)
