Do you close the windows before letting him get out of the cage?

My budgie is tame, and steps on my hand but what games can I play with him, he doesn't play with me at all! Please, tell me how to get him to play a game with me

So cute! Wish my bird would come down from his perches and onto a table.

Awww Adorable i have a little baby bird. I know my bird wouldnt be that brave enough to touch something she never saw before. She would probaly flutter all over the place and run to her cage lol.

I wish my little guy would play this well, he's such a scaredy cat, I've bought him all sorts of toys but he just won't go near them :D

It's been so long since I've seen any video updates on Johnny. How is he? Is he learning any new words? Has he made any new budgie friends since Rocky? He's a lovely ball of fluffy puffy gorgeousness- but I'm sure you already know that:D :D <3

i think this is prolly how he learnes how to make the ping pong ball sound

I had to many birds and parrots growing up...i havent had one for a while now and am thinking of getting one soon. Plz suggest if its better for wings to be clipped and if a stoe would do that? Also, do the stores have train them aswell? (mine used to wild:P)

Find a local breeder and order a hand tame one. Personally I would never clip a bird's wings - just make sure you have a budgie-safe environment when you let it out of it's cage.

No, his wings aren't clipped, he's just very playful and inquisitive. Yours might not fly away so quickly if there is a little bit of millet involved...

hi plz reply quick. iam havin trouble letting my budgie out i have too but i only let one out cause i can never get the other back in, anyway do you no how i can teach my budgie to play rather then fly back on top of his cage and start screaming at the other budgie.

You could try playing with the ball yourself and showing them what to do. Hopefully they'll be inquisitive enough to investigate given enough time.

Ah, this explains why johnny makes a ping pong sound! awesome! Very cute! What is the base made out of? I would like to play this game with my budgie!

It's the cap from a slim aerosol - in this case lighter gas. He also loves to pick the cap up with his beak and fling it around!
