DAY FIVE IN LA
Last story - Hayley so rudely interrupted a perfectly good triple date. Now.. Everyone is just left at the mall.
Miranda : [slightly angered] Ha, and you dated that? I wouldn't be telling many people that
Joe : [laughs] Dang Kev, that girl wants you back!
Kevin : Ugh, well she had her chance [laughs]
Hannah : Yeah.. Well this is kind of awkward..
Joe : ....Who is excited for the concert?
Hannah : ME!
Kevin : ME!!
Hannah : Miranda, you like coldplay right?
Miranda : They're ok, I never really listen to them.
Hannah : Oh they're more than ok!
Kevin : You excited for the concert?
Miranda : Yupp
Hannah looks at Joe and they both are thinking the same thing and they walk away. Bekah and Nick do the same. They leave Miranda and Kevin to talk.
Kevin : Hey... you ok?
Miranda : Yupp
Kevin : Come on, be honest with me.
Miranda : Okay, obviously I am upset that I was called your rebound girl
Kevin : But you know that's not true, right? I mean I told you all about her, I knew she'd try something like this
Miranda : Yeah, sorry. What do you mean you knew she'd try something?
Kevin : It's just like her to start up drama and stuff
Miranda : Oh, so she'll be back?
Kevin : [laughs] Scary huh?
Miranda : [sighs] Yeah
Kevin : Everything still okay? Still want to go to the concert?
Miranda : Yupp, I know how much you like them
Kevin : [laughs] Well they're like my favorite band! You don't like them at all, do you?
Miranda : No, no they're ok
Kevin : Hmmm, how about you and I skip the concert
Miranda : What? Kev, you just said that they're you're favorite band
Kevin : I know, but they'll be back for more concerts [smiles] So how about it, date night?
Miranda : Kevin! Wow, that's really sweet. This will be so much fun!
Kevin : Good, [smiles again] Do you think Samantha and Summer would want our tickets?
Miranda : Yeah, maybe. Are we going back to your house?
Kevin : Yeah, that cool?
Miranda : [smiles] Yupp
Kevin takes Miranda's hand and they walk back over to Hannah, Joe, Nick and Bekah and tell them the plan. They all go back to the Jonas house and basically regroup. Everybody puts away the stuff that they got at the mall for each other.
Summer and Samantha decided that they were going to the concert with the others while Kevin and Miranda went out on a date.
So I am going to skip a few hours...
It's now time for the concert so everyone is leaving the house. Joe is driving everyone [ha : ) ] Kevin and Miranda already left a little earlier for their date.
Kevin and Miranda's date -- Miranda is driving her car...cause Joe took Kevin's.
Kevin : So where are we going?
Miranda : I don't know, I am kind of just driving..
Kevin : [laughs] Well are you hungry?
Miranda : A little...
Kevin : Okay...I will just let you drive then..
Miranda : [smiles] Thanks
They drive for about thirty minutes then Kevin realizes where they were going.
Kevin : HEY! You're driving to the beach.
Miranda : I like it here. It's where my dad would take me when I was younger
Kevin : AND where we went on our first date
Miranda : Well, it wasn't really a date then
Kevin : Oh, it wasn't?
Miranda : [laughs] Kevin you're crazy. I know we haven't been dating long, but I really do like being with you
Kevin : Wow, thanks. I really like being with you too [smiles] And I am sorry for the whole Hayley thing this afternoon
Miranda : It's okay Kevin. I am pretty sure that you're over her [laughs]
Kevin : Oh gosh, I can't believe I was ever into her!
Miranda : Well then lets just forget about her, and our pasts, and lets just enjoy ourselves
Kevin : Well that's the best idea I've heard all day [laughs]
Miranda and Kevin continue talking. They are just sitting on the beach in the sand. Kevin puts his arm around Miranda and she leans her head on his chest. Kevin kisses her forehead.
Kevin : Is that ok?
Miranda : [smiles] Yeah
Kevin smiles back and kisses her on the forehead again. They spend another thirty minutes at the beach then they go out to eat. After they eat they just go back to the Jonas house to wait for everyone to come back home.
