  • Oppo kindly addressed this capability in a DVD-Audio "Direct Play" feature in the official firmware update released July 13, 2011. Thx for viewing!

  • Also some DVD-A contain both surround audio and stereo audio, how to make the selection without a monitor?

  • @linkfox99 The "Audio" button on the remote toggles between the stereo and m/c tracks in all the DVD-As I've encountered.

  • For DVD-A discs containing multiple Play List or Track List, which list should be chosen to start playback?

  • @linkfox99 The DVD-As I've encountered default to Group 1, Track 1, which is usually the multichannel track.
