This 1988 music video was made to promote the Off-Broadway musical An Unfinished Song by James J. Mellon. Full of many nonextant New York City visuals including: the art deco elevated West Side Highway, neon signage from the Paramount Century Hotel (pre-Ian Schraeger conversion), the Amsterdam Restaurant diner and P&G bar next door at 73rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue, the Christopher Street archive building while being converted into apartments, the meat packing district (pre-fashion take-over) and the theater district pre-Disney. Southampton, Fred Bruns and his antique shop and Montauk stood in for New Hampshire.
