  • "Not family-friendly" is right-wing code for "too gay" (which both Joy and Johnny know very well, even if they're tap-dancing around it). Shame on Smuckers.

  • forget about the homophobic Smuckers Stars on Ice tour - non-family friendly = homophobic

It is not like Johnny has even "come out" on any side of sexual orientation, and quite frankly, it's no one's business but his own.

Disney should build him a rink and host him at WDW.

Johnny wouldn't have to tour, he could invite skaters to join him.

That would be far better than having to deal with a hostile sponsor and show.

And on top of it, who is to say that folks aren't just jealous of Johnny?

  • @Scriptease123 i dont think thats what they meant when they said "family friendly" but i get your point lol

  • Not family friendly? His father is disabled and his mother recently lost her job. He sends money home to them. Even with all the work he does, he basically lives from paycheck to paycheck. Smuckers Stars On Ice should be ashamed of themselves. Not to mention all the Johnny fans that won't be buying tickets. It's just not good business.

  • I can see why people don't think he's family friendly...... he wears some bizarre outfits and skates to music that isn't quite G-rated.

  • LOVE HIM!!

  • thisisi so funny because my family had three generations dying to see Weir (my mother, me, my son). We'd actually already had tickets and gave them away - they may have already had my money but they didn't get me there and they lost my support (and merch money)

  • not sure if it's true about labeling stars on ice as homophobic. i only sat this because they incorperated a cast number recently with the song "strut" by adam lambert. as we all know, adam is honest about his sexuality and his style and performances are very out there in an amazing way of course. just look at his video of "for your entertainment". the jury is still out for me on stars on ice.

  • I think by "not family friendly" they meant he walks around in his underwear a lot and says stuff maybe little kids shouldn't hear. idk I think Johnny is amazing, he's not afraid to be himself! GO JOHNNY!

  • A total lie? Hmm. your comment only made me realise that i shouldn't post his actual status on a youtube video. so there you go, it's gone. and for the better of his current, unclarified image, i mean you've already made up your mind based on what you think you've heard.. on a tv show!

  • Don't post total lies just for the sake of argument. Johnny's said many times recently he isn't involved with anyone and has had no time for relationships. Plus, his own best friend said on his show last night that he was glad Johnny made it to the Olympics while being GAY. It can be safely assumed his own best friend would know better than some anonymous talker on Youtube.
