Poor robot!

With success comes failure... :|
But if you think about it...The forces on those brittle plastic joints are tremendous...
The torque must be wrenchin' those axles... Thank god X2 doesn't have a nervous system, because the faceplant looked like it hurt XP

NOOO!! It was doing well too! I hope you can get it working!

cool bot, but it takes a while to work , try gyro balencing from hitechnic then u can go faster

Noooo! :(
Although I found it rather humerus at 3:27 when all the motors stop and it just accepts its fate.
Did you manage to fix it?

@Scorge120
we were in tears as well it was funny as hell, the sound track was to cover that mostly. Some parts went across the room. It came down to a error in my program. about at that point you see it kind of think (? now what), motor command was backward and yea no returning for that, face plant.

X-2 was never designed to climb 5 inch steps, but we thought we would see what is the limit of its abitity mechanicaly. Considering its height of 21 inches a 5 inch step is huge for its size, almost 25% of its height. Building a artculating Biped from Lego only parts also makes it rather heavy. So even under Gyro control will not make it faster, just smarter. Speed is more the relation of motor power to weight. Still it is first to have any Lego Biped climb any steps at all. work in progress..
