I toally agree with you. I think Leroy Sibbles himself is playing bass on this. Infact he is to be credited with playing bass on a ton load of big time hits (no man is an island-Dennis Brown, Bob Andy et al..) from the early '70s

certainly one of the greatest songs by the Heptones, it just doesn't get as much prominence as some of their other hits
