@marianosupply It never happened. Russell never had throat surgery. They toured all throughout 1997 after releasing the Book Of Love album. I seen them 7 times since 1990 through 2000. Russell's voice was slowly changing, he was losing some of the range he used to have. It's happened to a LOT of singers. Compared to 2000, he's lost even more range and vocal power. For him it's just part of getting old. It had nothing to do with a throat disease.

@marianosupply Oh...So that was the reason why his voice changed..So sad because he wasn't able to survive since this year 'til now...But still, I'm a fan!
