@geowoondana @JimBeek im sorry for the fans of Coldplay, but i think that all the professional musicians of the world will agree with me if i say that Elbow is better than Coldplay because they are more complex for questions of rythm and harmony. I dont say that Coldplay songs are not nice or good, i just say they are more simple and comercial. But i respect all the people. You keep listening to Coldplay, I'll keep listening to Elbow, and everybody will be happy. Happy New Year to everybody.

@Alexriseagainst The question is, do they plagiarise more than other bands? Seriously, there's only so many chord combinations and Chris said this inspired him, I'm not surprised the songs sound similar. But a rip-off? No.
