I live in ontairo my so called wife moved to newfoundland i have had the kids on my own 4 5 years now i need to get it in wrighting ow can i serve her ??????????

I am not sure in other countries, but I would imagine that you should get a lawyer for this. This should be simple, due to the fact that you have the kids already and for quite some time. A lawyer would know what to do. You could also ask social services for help on this too. I would get this done right away, before she moves back. It would be easier to add stipulations now, she could come back and cause trouble later. Any other questions, feel free to email me!

Logic would think that if you paid child support, you get to see your kids. But, it depends on the court order. Seeing your kid(s) is determined by the court. I think the way the courts and society behaves is wrong and usually keeps the single father from seeing their kids. It usually is wrong, but sometimes necessary. I have posted some links on my blog. IM A SINGLE FATHER , at least for 11 years & im dissappointed that these FATHERS ORGANIZATIONS treat me like CRAP when I ask questions OR need help & information????

Thank you for the comment. I agree with you. I am working on my website to help single fathers, it is going slowly, but I am trying to get it going. I have answered emails that have come to me and I have posted them on my blog as well for others to comment on. This isn't easy when single fathers don't participate and tell me what they are looking for or what they would like to see. I have gone through a lot of trial an error and I am now getting things going in the right direction. Thanks - Bob

@littlekenny1000 Forget serving her... File for custody and child support... Get a lawyer if you can afford one or seek social services in your area asap!!!! You can not do this soon enough, the courts will take your children, bury you in child support and award them to the mother... Seek child support brother, this will slow the mother down tremendously if she were to return for the children.

@dave2806 You have to request a warrent to be issued... Also request a pay increase, although she hasnt paid it would still get her in court and force her to show proof of income. I agree if it were us, we would be in jail... I dont understand it.

my ex walked out on me and our three kids eight years ago. I'm disabled yet work full time and don't get a penny from her. the csa are pathetic. if the roles where reversed i would be in prison for non payment . so far they have done nothing apart from writing her letters that she ignores. the system is geared up for woman not men. time we fought back and proved that you don't have to be a woman to support your kids and raise them properly.
