L-carnitine Food Supplement : DigInfo

Ito Life Sciences, Inc. introduced and exhibited "L-carnitine" as a food supplement for diet foods, sport foods, and baby foods at the Health Ingredients Japan 2008 show. L-carnitine has been shown to strongly contribute to lipid metabolism and is an essential substance for converting fatty acids to usable energy in the mitochondria.
L-carnitine helps the body efficiently produce energy, so when it's used as a diet supplement, improvements can be expected in stamina during daily activities and in endurance while exercising.
Ito Life Sciences formed an exclusive sales agreement with the Italian company BIOSINT, which is the manufacturer of L-carnitine, and plans to expand sales of L-carnitine as a popular food ingredient using a production and quality control system that is on the same level as those systems used for pharmaceuticals.
