@XFuncCaRteR The specifics of a single region cannot be applied to an entire continent. And I doubt "remote places" are where most of the population or more advanced infrastructure is.

Also, my Mom's boyfriend is a geologist, and has spent a lot of time going out in remote places in Africa, and when he demos a laptop, they often stare in amazement.

just like people complain that Africa is not a country, lemme tell you that America isnt one either. The USA is a country, but "America" was referred to by Europeans as the entire New World. Brazil was Portugal's "America", the Spanish-speaking countries were Spain's America, just like the 13 colonies were Britain's America. So if you say you come from "America" you might as well come from Brazil or Colombia.
