Very nicely done. Overall it is quite a credible and emotionally effective reading of this difficult piece. You have some difficulty articulating the trill in m. 9 and the section marked "a tempo" at the top of pg. 8 really isn't "a tempo;" it's sagging a bit there. But it's such a hard piece, and you play it so well. Congrats!
excellent training and wonderful atention to sound and harmonic voicings. Musicality is most important and it 's apparent in your phrases. never heard this busoni version. god,he did write a lot of music the Dover comp put out the small six sonatas and studies.thanks
Okay, hands down, awesome performance. Voicing, articulation, attention to detail, concept, pretty much everything. A bit tense, here and there in stronger dynamics when chords come, though, that's about the only comment I could have. Musicianship par excellance. Thanks!
This is a very interesting choice of repertoire; thanks for posting this. I know Busoni's fascinating version of the last movement of the F major concerto, K459, but this transcription of K271 is new to me. I like your attention to details of articulation, chord balancing and different degrees of staccato within a dry context with very little pedal - it takes real skill to play like this and a lot of care has been taken with your preparation. Really enjoyed it.
