Just found your video, Michael. All too many folks forget those of us who shoot with "the other hand." Excellent work! You showed me this once (South AL) but I was having trouble remembering the specific steps. Thanks for posting the video!

Mr. de Bethancourt,
Thank you for this video. The classes I have taken with you have been well worth the time and money. I am generally suspicious of those educators who that claim theirs is the true way. I found your study of efficiency and open-minded attitude toward other methods very refreshing. Your teaching method did well to get the point across as well as reinforce the lesson. "Punishing" safety infractions with group hug was classic! I will be enrolling in your other classes.

what is the advantage to switching hands? To me it seems faster to leave the gun in my right hand, activate the cylinder release with thumb, and roll cylinder out with forefinger while retrieving the speedloader with the left hand.

1st Youre looking at a left hand reload video but youre asking about a right hand reload. 2nd For left hand re-loading I advocate for reliability over speed. By changing grips you hit the rod with the heal of the right hand. By not changing hands you hit the ejector rod with the left hands web. Shooters who are re-loading left handed and hit the rod with the left hand web foul the reload more often than those using the right hand heal - A lethal problem in a shooting. Michael de Bethencourt
