Kilowatt Las vegas

I am Kilowatt- a unit of energy equal to 1,000 watts. In a city that consumes millions of watts per day-I am small by comparison. I am transformed through the Kilowatt Electric Soul Sound Generator(KSSG). KSSG was created by Danny Boy (Martinez Bros); host and resident DJ of the famous or infamous Get Back Funky Soul Dance Party. Along with partners DJ Sense' (Casa Del Soul Records) and Bboy Steve, Danny Boy's goal is to create the same vibe, but without the same format. As you may know, the GB is the city's finest Rare Funk & Soul Party. The funk and soul you will hear at Kilowatt is more contemporary and electronic-hence the fabricated name: Electric Soul. The sounds of late 70s and early 80s funk and disco will be fused with the contemporary intrumental funk, nujazz and brokenbeat. KSSG will give the good people of Sin City an opportunity to hear some of the new generation artists that maintain that funky and soulful vibe. Music will not be the only asset to Kilowatt-visual art will be present as well. The visuals will be provided by many of Sin City's creative individuals that make up the thriving sub culture unit that exists in Las Vegas. Culture in Las Vegas? Yes sir indeed!! Kilowatt will be the outlet, which will help expose the creativity that exists "beyond the neon" (cliche'). Las Vegas is an electric city and Kilowatt will help ignite the shocking truth of what can and does exist here-SOUL-raw, uncut, and funky-SOUL. While one kilowatt may not be enough to light up the entire city of Las Vegas, it is definitely enough to electrify one great party.
