O let me tell you about it, my ALX just struggles soooooo bad running auto cad and office 2007 *sarcasm*, go figure out what the fuck your talking about. The only programs a good gaming computer can't run are the ones meant for super computers, not desktops. And even then most gaming machines have 3 or 4 TESLA GPU's, so they could probably do most of them too.

Unacceptably overpriced, that' why no one buys.
-
if you say so :) you tried it? I'm sure, you didn't. Not in that way, that you have to earn your money with your "gaming machine". Go back under your stone and bother someone else ....
-
if it's a gaming machine, it should be able to run most if not all other applications... retard.

Well, in case of Macs, you have no other choice than to buy the core machine from Apple.
But i agree with you: i rather build my systems from the scratch on my own (and abandon to use a Mac :-). But some people haven't this choice ...

And btw: I am not interested in the question, which one is better. This would be a stupid question. It would be like asking: is a truck or a car better?
I only responded to your statement, that the "Omen" is a competitor to Apple and can beat it.

It's absolutely no problem to run Windows on Macs (ever heard of Boocamp?). It is only a minor problem to run Linux on Macs. And of course, you can use MacOS. Can you say the same for the "Omen"?

i would never buy a desk top if i can hhelp it. i would always make it myself, i was just saying, for people who wouldnt.

Call me all you want. Its still not going to change the fact that gaming stations like these run Windows. (I prefer Linux, but it is hard to find. Way more stable than Apple and Windows.) You are right. They both target different markets and people. But when it comes down to who is better, it doesn't matter what you or I say. We only have opinions
Some of the most unnecessary shit ever implemented into that pc, but still bad ass.

@METMAN92towhoknows: you only pay 23000 $ for a Mac Pro, if you are stupid enough to max it in the Apple Store :-) I mean, 3500 $ for 16GB RAM, come on ...
Many resellers max them with full warranty for almost half the price. And if you know what you are doing, you could spare a few thousands more if you do it on your own ...
