Steve MacDonald, Zydrunas Savickas, Derek Poundstone push the boundaries of human strength in Atlas Stone lifting. Steve Mac's 520 World Record stone lift, Zydrunas's 2 seconds off from being a World Record 520 lift, and Derek Poundstone's unofficial World Record 555 stone lift. Only a few men are in the 500 club of stone lifting, King of Stones II honors 3 of them.

    It's kinda up in the air, 522 was said sometimes and 520 others. The stone is officially marked a 520 though...so I just went with that. Steve and Zydrunas lifted the same stone.

    Questionable that Olympic lifting supers could do those stones because O lifting takes a lot less biceps than needed to "flex" those stones holding close to body. All strength is specific. Savickas appeared to stand the easiest suggesting his legs are stronger. They could get jobs punishing unruly convicts with bearhugs.

    eventually if derek keeps lifting the way he dose he will be the strongest man who ever live'd. his lifts go up around 50lb's every year sence 2006 roughly he has keep up that pace this year. so in 4 or 5 more years he would deffinetly be so far ahead that he would be the strongest. its all a matter of number of years in training each athleat has put in.
