Your two new favorite college beer advocates explaining the 'goods', the 'bads', and the 'location appropriation' of some of today's most popular beers. Episode one introduces your hosts, who share with you practical experience (not second hand knowledge) and examines Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR).
Pabst did a lot of cool things for Milwaukee. If you get to Milwaukee, go check out the Pabst Mansion.

I'd say pbr is a bowling beer too. Have an alley out here that has dollar games with dollar beers every monday night...just sucks that it's a rather long drive to get there. Last time I went it was during a nice snow storm so it took around 45 minutes give or take a few. Realized you're in Chicago so maybe you have tried some Wisconsin microbrews.

I don't think anyone is looking to impress with PBR, IMO it's the you want a cheap beer, but you don't want complete piss water. I got a friend who LOVES his beer and PBR is probably his fav cheap beer. By the way when you say case of pbr how many cans are we speaking? Because a 30 pack around here goes for about $16.99. Also if you are ever in Wisconsin you'll have to check out some of our micro brews, probably one of the most popular being New Glarus' Spotted Cow.
