MUSIC OF THE NIGHT (from Phantom of the Opera) by: Andrew Lloyd Weber

In the twilight hours...
In the nocturne of an evening's still

When the minuet of dreams awaken...
and turns and trills

To fill the empty chambers...in the fantasia of the mind...
And the requiem of lost hope...shall so find...

Another instrumentation much more clear...
Where notes of doubts, anticipations...and the rondo of all fears...

Shall diminish, and consort themselves in harmony
A duet of the heart and mind...in lyrical synchrony...

And the song which the heart did once sing...
A cadence of smiles and happiness it did so bring

Shall a due, and repeat once more...
Calling forth...the nuance of this encore

But this orchestration of want and need, and hope and desire...
May not necessarily so transpire

And be conspicuous to the inconspicuousness of mere sight...
But only heard if keenly listening to...

THE MUSIC OF THE NIGHT...

  • @TheKarlez Let your hands hang by your sides...then curl your fingers as if you're grasping a hand sized ball - you may even want to start out with a real ball at first. Then, without changing the shape of your fingers, play a C scale - just C-G. Try it enough times, and it should become natural. And don't stop practicing this way just because it doesn't work the first few times. Also, you may want to purchase a Hanon book (piano exercises) and practices those quite a bit. Happy practicing!

  • wow. i love it. (: where did you found sheets? i can't found them...:/

  • Wow you are soo good... I wish I could play as good as you :( I've had about 4 years of lessons, so I can play rather good, but I want to be able to play like you. Your fingers are so graceful as they move over the keys. I have problems with my fourth and fifth fingers raising when I play.. also I have a problem with my fingers going flat instead of curved. Do you have any tips? You are such a great piano player.. Thank you for the encouragement!!

  • Very Beautiful!!!!! Congratulations

  • very NICE !!!!!
