Hey so I finally felt I had enough effects in a video to warrant making a breakdown video. I've never made one before so I thought it may be kind of fun to make. I hope you enjoyed it!

my question is, what is the point of rebuilding the background if u already have it captured on camera??? i've never understood that

@ezjluck It's because you really don't have it captured properly on camera. I needed a really wide shot for the earth jump for instance, wider than what my camera could achieve on it's own. It also gives you way more control with animations of anything on screen, so you don't have to do extremely complicated tracking.

To everyone asking about the SFX: It's really about taking a bunch of sound effects and layering them and building them to make something that sounds really good. Like Freddie Wong says, sound effects suck on their own, but when built they're good. I know that's true from personal experience, and I'm sure Wren does too.

@ParchmentTwiser Yeah that's exactly right. Audio is just as important as the visual, and is constructed the same way as a VFX shot. I'm actually really excited about the SFX for my next video, which should be out in a couple days!
