@alexsau91 The estimate that Henry VIII executed 72,000 people is a myth. That number was too much for the people to tolerate and it was very unlikely for Henry to maintain his popularity throughout his reign if he killed such enormous number of people. That's even to much for a bloody war back then.

Henry VIII is estimated to have had 72,000 people executed in his 37 year reign; around 1945 a year.
Mary I on the other is estimated to have had 286 people executed in her 5 year reign, around 56 a year.
Mary I the meanest Tudor? Not by a long shot.

There is an error at 5:50 when they say Jane Seymour was Henry VIII's fourth wife. She was his THIRD wife. Anne of Cleves was FOURTH.
