What we have here is one of the most amazing saves ever performed on a tight-tilt, tournament-level Addams Family pinball machine. The fact that it was done with the pressure of the PAPA A-Division Finals makes it even more unbelievable. Bowen made the ball do a Ninja Gaiden style triangle jump out of trouble and back into the inlane. For his next trick, he'll pull a rabbit out of his hat (AGAIN?! ^_^).
Well done, Bowen!
Tremendous thanks and respect are due to Kevin, Steve, Dave, and all of the scorekeepers and volunteers who continue to make PAPA the premier pinball tournament event of the year.
Wow, that's an insane amount of tables. Ya know I used to be good at pinball, now all I play is Visual Pinball. :(

I've seen that demonstrated on the Pinball 101 DVD. Of course that was done by Keith Elwin.

Amazing, I did not know it was possible to do a "Sam Harvey" on a modern game, let alone a game as steep as that TAF. Beautiful, right on the edge, with those two tilt warnings.
I've seen Sam Harvey walk a ball up out of an outlane drain by doing the triangle jump, even as deep as a few inches down the drain. That's how the technique got its name. I did it myself, *once* in my life, on a very slow, very shallow Jacks Open EM game. Never did it again. Thought not possible on a non-EM!
