Awesome!
-
it uses used motor oil as fuel
-
@Westbound70 I get the feeling that UP is run by train fans!!
-
@Trainguyxx The top speed of the 3985 is 72 mph and going downhill it can go 75-78 mph.
-
@SkipW the 3985 and 844 both run off of #5 fuel oil that is recycled from the eveygrowing fleet of diesel locomotives.
-
@Trainguyxx According to UP, 70 mph.
-
@Trainguyxx I believe it is 72.5 milers per hour, but I'm not sure.
-
also could you imagine having to shovel stoke one of those puppies at 70mph across the iowa and nebraska flatlands?
-
That, my friend, is what makes me proud to be anamerican XD
oh and also, i was wondering if anyone kew wat the top speed of the challenger is fully loaded, or just normally loaded, whichever. My friend is drivng it in a simulator with cars and it's going 70 mph

Ah, nothing like seeing a nice thick plume of black sooty coal smoke blasting out of the stack of an old iron workhorse once in a while. I hope Al Gore is watching and shits his pants.
