World info-pavilion and other technology cannibalized
from the old exhibit. Today the screens show various
angles of the sleeping city. The Fat Clown mans the
controls.

Penguin is a Terrorist. Everything about him shouts it: the religious imagery (33 years, born around Xmas, "first born child", "all of God's children", etc.).

I'm not surprised critics hated this film. Its message could easily be construed as anti-Semitic: terrorists exist because they are abused since they are born, therefore their fight is inevitable and just.

But that wasn't the point of Penguin. He's the extreme character in this tale of outsiderness and abandonment.
