The arrival of a bird in Serdang temple on the 16/4/11 at 6.25AM after the Khanda formed

Another unusual incident was the appearance of a black bird at the temple early the next morning (Friday), which flew onto the palki, a cabinet where the Guru Granth Sahib was kept.

The bird then bowed to the holy book and flew to the dining hall for a sip of water before flying off.

The women explained that they believed the bird was a messenger of Guru Gobind Singh as he always had a bird on his right arm.

So far, some 300 devotees had flocked to the 97-year-old temple and more were expected to come as word gets around.

In my humble opinion, could be 2 reasons: 1 like @ruspalkaur said or it could be a soul going through Churasi Lak Jun (don’t know if my spelling is right). Either way, the bird is a being of Waheguru, a creation of his. I guess some people just over analyze things. In certain cases, the more learned we get, the more ignorant we become. It's a miracle the bird didn't poop while doing his walk about. A true miracle would have been a bird donning a turban complete with a kachera and a kirpan.... doing the moonwalk around the temple. Now that's a spectacle that would make me a believer or should i say "birdiever".

if u believe its a miracle, good for u. but dont gain unwarranted publicity . otherwise u will be doomed as the "prophets of visualism" and if we divert all attention to the said miracle, then the sikh panth will be neglected. no harm intended to anyone, but give it a thought bcos if we over focus on this subject then we will like others and back to square one when we were offtrack before sikhism . may the force of khalsa be with all of u.
