So, the message is don't count on the educational system to help you out of the street because you will have an ordinary and boring job and life, but if you get a grip on yourself, you can be the lord of your turf ? I like it, I want to do the same except for the illegal implications. I never trusted the education system, I want to be a self made man, an entrepreneur and investor.

i think that the junkie and busted part has to do with people finding ways to challenge the authority figures control over them. eventually people would find something that they can get away with but sooner or later it would be known and they would introduce harsh laws ect so they can have control over it. maybe

a friend told me that this part of cyrus speech had to do with authority figures controlling your life. the school systems and community centers are just there to conditioned people to accept reality as it is because it benefits the people in power. hence, the flow of information is limited and controlled to a degree.

the courts exist to enforce and protect the system. people are told to accept the norm and never to questioned it or they will get punished.
