Actually Podkopayeva competed in 1997 too, and Karpenko still competes for Bulgaria.

True about Podkopayeva but not in important meets, did she? She missed the Worlds and then retired.
Karpenko still competes? I know Karpenko moved to Bulgaria in 02 but she disappeared from the international scene after 2000. She hasn't been at any worlds or Athens, has she?

No Olympics, but she made 2005 Worlds and 2006 Euros. She missed Stuttgart this year because of an injury.
