RIP Daddy, I love you!

My father was everything to me, My daddy, my best friend, my life line, & my care giver. Losing him by far is the hardest thing EVER! He passed away October of 2006 when I was 14. Here we are 5 years later, and I still remember everything like it was yesterday.


Corrections officer dies in car accident

A Bryan correctional officer was killed in a single-vehicle accident just before 1 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.

... John Howard Schuler, 41, was driving east on Elmo Weedon Road, about three miles east of College Station. He was speeding and failed to make a sharp curve, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Schuler's vehicle left the roadway and rolled twice before striking a tree and landing on its roof, DPS officials said. Schuler died at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt, reports state.

Schuler worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for more than four years and was assigned to the Hamilton Unit in Bryan, officials said.
