@salonbal ACTUALLY belly dance is a gypsy artform. It was created to honor the mother goddess and NOT to entertain men's sexual urges. The movements were to mimic the birth that women gave and so forth. It was not done in the harems. The harem dancers did FOLKLORIC dances and not BELLY DANCE. The women did not dance and then please the Sultan. The dance was FOR THEMSELVES and OTHER WOMEN. Look up Jamila Salimpour. She gives a great history of the dance. Be educated and not ignorant

Sulky dance is for girls maybe for bitches at time she was dancing when emperor came back and they made emperor relax it s all about sulky dance . And i think it s not an art what did he do.
