I dont believe it's right for anyone to base what kind of gymnast Alicia Sacramone is just because she fell at olympics. It was a big moment for her. I would've been super nervous and probably froze. But she continued her routine till the end. Also for all the people who think she sucks as a gymnast, and for that guy John who has 75 thousand profiles and posts those chain comments Get a life! Atleast she got there. What have you done with your life lately?

I felt really sorry for Shawn, but to show confidence she got back on the beam and showed the judges why she is an Olympian and that she deserves to win! In 2012 I'll definitely be supporting you! Go Shawn!!

For someone who fell twice but still scored a 14.475, I'd say that's good. Poor girl was having an off day. At least she handled it very well and was able to remain calm!

aww!! she fell twice!!! she was probs really nervous!!! shes such a great gymnast, just look at all her beam routines in the past, there really good!!! and she won the olympics lol

@afgymnast96 AMEN! finally, someone understands. She didnt talk to chow for a year (which she said herself) then all of a sudden decides shes comming back and for everyone who thinks shes going to the olympics, lets get intouch with reality. Was she an extremely talented gymnast? Yes. Was she of the best in the world? Yes. but two years doing nothing but being a celeberty put her behind in her gymnastics. With the talent the US has going into 2012, Shawn doesnt stand a chance.

one thing i don't think is fair at all to her fans is how she was being so iffy on if she was coming back before she decided. even now i don't think she'll be able to be even close to where she was before.the us team really doesn't need her anymore unless she can throw the skills she could before. two years out of the gym is a really long time for the elite level. if she was level 5, she could probably come back.but does she really think she can waltz back in and be at the same awesome level?idk
