I believe the republican party cannot win the 08 election without the fairtax and huckabee.
The Democrates plateform is "change" and one of their focus of change is government heathcare. Though I donot agree with government healthcare it is a big idea something that the democratic party, pudits, candidates, voters, elected officials agrees with. Even when the republicans had the majority in congress they still believe that the idea was possible.
The republicans have Big Ideas like the fairtax, social security ownership, etc. When the republicans had the majority the voters wanted these big ideas but the pudit, elected officials, the cadidates, the radio talkshows all pretty much say "this is a great idea but it will never happen". With social security reform the republicans did a horrible job selling it using words like "social security privatization" instead of "social security ownership".
WE WILL LOSE THIS ELECTION IF WE DON'T LOOK TOWARDS THE FUTURE AND THE FAIRTAX IS THAT FUTURE. THE FAIRTAX WILL FIRE UP THE REPUBLICAN BASE. IT IS REAL CHANGE FOR THE GOOD OF THE COUNTRY AND EVERYONE WILL BENEFIT. MIKE HUCKABEE HAS TO BE THE PRESIDENT OR THE VICE PRESIDENT B/C HE IS THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN SELL IT TO THE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. All the news media has everyone believing that his success is with christians but the momentum behind mike huckabee and why even I strongly support him is the fairtax.

I support Huckabee 100 % . But the sad thing about this, is that even if he was to become President, nothing would ever be passed because of the large control by Democrats in the Congress. It's like a no win situation. Politics suck, and the American people are the ones paying for it !!
