I just want to say we are all shaped by what happens in our lives as children and Mike's childhood was as bad as it could be Most of us don't have any true concept of the trauma he would have gone through as a small boy . Is it any surprise really that he went in to self-destruct mode not long after his mentor/father's death .? I don't think so . I hope he finds some solace and by all accounts he is doing o.k . I

That athletic commissioner was wrong.....Boxing has NOT been fine since Iron Mike left. For better or for worse.....Mike was the last really superstar of the heavyweight division....and it has been a baron wasteland since he left.
