  • Not worth the time to do anymore,a new bumper cover is cheap and all you have to do is prepare,prime and paint it.Finally install it.

  • LOL I would have just found the same panel from a parts car or at the wrecking yard

    then matched the paint color ;)

  • Check their web, they have excellent charts on identifying plastics and trouble shooting repairs.

  • 3 Major types of plastic used now. You have to use the correct filler rod. How can we tell what we have? Clean and grind the material both sides. Melt filler rod into v notch on bottom side, hold stainless screen on the bottom of the repair tight and melt filler rod thru the screen. Clean very well with wax and grease remover. Melted plastics will produce an paint contaminants.

  • hmm... never used the white tape on the outside of the bumper. Did not know you could sand it. Thought it was for strength.

  • WHAT tipe of gun or machine is the one you guys used to melt the plastic , and where cna i get it , along with plastic?
