mmm sorry, I don not agree. Not all colombians are that "passionate", neither she was at the beginning of her carrier. She actually comes from a pretty Christian environment, so I don't think this is the result of her education. And the guttural tones? Spanish doesn't have that tones. Her voice and singin style is just hers. Personally I have no problem with that, is her personal style, as I said, what bothers me is the use of the "Latin Sex Symbol" so freely... as if the music was not enough.

She comes from a very open, emotional and erotic culture. She is beautiful and passionate. Alot of her allure is her looks and dancing and sensuality. Her vocals are of the gutteral tones characteristic of her language. I wish she would work with a vocal coach so she could sing more normally...but not lose the flavor.
