Q and not U is a pretty fantastic band that recently disbanded. This footage was taken at one of their last shows in DC over the summer. The song is So Many Calls off of their CD, Different Damage.

  • hey,

yeah, this isn't from black cat... seeing as it is outdoors. it's from some park in dc.. i forget what it's called. they have little outdoor shows every week. i think this was their 3rd to the last show. i wasn't going to be in town for the final ones at black cat, so i just pretended like this was their farewell show. *tear*

  • Everyone is obsessed with the notion of bands selling out. Like we the fans own the right to a groups sound. They are just songs. Good or bad. Some of my favorite bands have made albums that I'm not too fond of but shit, who am I to judge. I simply won't listen to those albums. And if you have a problem with bands creating music you don't like then get off your talentless ass and try to put something out there yourself. Shut you computer off and do something about it. You simple minded hacks!

  • I saw this band the summer they broke up at the Black Cat. I wasn't even a fan of them; I had barely heard of them. Great show though. It was a real shame it was one of their last.

  • Well sir, while I do not agree with your opinions I'll fight to the death for your right to have them.

  • I'm gald they didn't get reconized. Then they would have turned into pathetic sellouts like every other band...

  • i wonder if ian pooped his pants when he signed this band i would lolz...

  • horrible synchronization

  • i was at their last show. unfortunantly i didn't get to see them at fort reno ever. they were really a special band. it's a pity they never got the recognition they deserved.

  • It was last July at Fort Reno in DC. So technically, their third to last show in DC. Then in the fall they did a handful of shows in Philly and New York etc before the last two shows at the Black Cat. But yeah, I took pictures at this show that you can see here http://community.webshots.com/album/523835082vlvkeq
