Is it really this simple? Yes, it is.

In MY lab, as in all labs, the enteric pathogens Salmonella, Escherichia coli, Campylobacter, and Shigella are all plated to a media with an ALKALINE ph, as these organisms proliferate more quickly at that end of the scale. Stahpylococcus ssp. prefer 8.5, and Vibrios cholera actually prefers a ph of 9-9.5; the assertion that pathogenic bacteria prefer an acidic environment is unfounded and demonstrably incorrect. It is what it is. Believe what you want.....

What's "learnerned" mean? How about "incent"? Good luck with the prayer thing. Hope that works for you.

@homeostasis4me Prayer: I thank you Father for keeping these secrets from the learnerned and the wise and reveling them to the incent and the simple. Amen

@22y32g9 My point? It's up the person making the claims to provide evidence based on actual, you know, CLINICAL FINDINGS and submit them to a group of PEERS to be scrutinized. I know, crazy- right? That's hard, huh? Having to actually back up your claims. Sheesh...we scientists have a lot of nerve, huh?
-
@22y32g9 I don't need to buy a roll of "test tape" . It's called "litmus paper", BTW..... Lemme fill you in on how we do science, ok? No charge for the lesson. We SHARE information in my field! OK- Let's say I claimed I had a concoction made from special herbs and the white out of chicken shit, and that my concoction would make you healthy. Is it up to YOU to prove me wrong? NOPE. It's up to ME to use something called EVIDENCE, which I gained from what we call CONTROLLED CLINICAL TRIALS.
-
@22y32g9 Umm....NO. The ability of hemoglobin to carry oxygen has nothing to do whatsoever with blood pH. Post one SINGLE example where it has been clinically shown there is an increased affinity of oxygen and hemoglobin in acidic blood. Learn? Pssshhht. I've forgotten more about human biochemistry than you'll learn in you entire lifetime, Ace. I live in a lab 8 hours a day. You're barking up the wrong tree.

@homeostasis4me As your pH goes up your blood carries more oxygenated blood to every orgin and cell in your body. Things like Cancer and other Diseases can not exist in a Oxygenated Rich Environment. Do yourself a favor and Google that. Learn the truth.
-
@homeostasis4me You must be a blind man. Can you afford $8.00 for a roll of test tape. Why don't you prove him wrong that's the best way. If your wrong and you are. I have proved it to myself. But I'm Taking better care of myself after learning. This has been going on now for the past 2 years If you would rather spend your money at your doctors go a head its your wonderful life. I'm 59 years old My health has always been poor. Colds flu virus bronchitis pneumonia I haven't been sick n 2 years

@LetsCook2gether Anything above 7 is good health God made us so that our immune systems worked better at 7.4 that is the optimun range. As you eat and drink through out the day your pH changes. if you drink a lot of Coffee. It is acidic that will bring your pH down.
what the F? there is so much conflicting info around. i was watchint the ATI (assessement technology institues) video and the nurse said that anything below 7.35 is acidosis. this guy is sayin to shoot for 7 on the nose, that would be extremely acidic, for the human body, according to the nurse. what is going on with all the disagreements?
joopq 2 years ago
The nurse is talking about blood pH. It has to stay in a very narrow range. This video is talking about pH of general body fluids, as measured by urine or saliva.
optahealth 2 years ago
so urine and salivaa should be as close to 7 as possible?
joopq 2 years ago
Urine may be slightly on the acid side, because the body removes excess acid through the urine.
Saliva can vary based on what you ate or drank recently.
