It was a national anthem. It wasn't as if they were throwing feces at a deceased soldier's casket. Far worse goes on at sporting events around the world, especially some European football mathces.

Boston fans cheering the Canadian Anthem hardly redeems the constant nationalistic disparagements which pour out of Jack Edwards and many a Bostonian. Montreal's booing was much more directed at Boston fans than the United States. I don't understand how that is so hard to get.
