I just saw the director of this movie give a lecture about how he created it and how he worked with his "non-actors"

He was very motivational and this movie is spectacularly shot.

this movie wasnt that great. it may have portrayed the urban life for children factually, but it lacked in character development and hooking you into the story. also it ends terribly, making you feel like it didnt even end but got cut off.

damn I went there a couple of times the yard next to the stadium to get my windows tinted and stuff. never knew they shot a film there... wow!

I live in Australia and i want to know where i can get this film from?

with all that bailout money they can just right up with a finger snap, why couldnt they right up a check to get rid of the poor, or poor minded people.

i grew up in this neighborhood. let me just say that you are so ignorant and have never left your suburban microcosm that you call home that seeing this is hard to believe. I currently work in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Miami, Overtown, and the reality is not that different. Wake up and see what really goes on in many urban areas around the United States
