Notes: Universal Pictures slapped FVI with a huge lawsuit in 1981 when they first attempted to bring the film stateside. After a lengthy court battle the film was released sparingly in the US. Universal's beef was that the ad campaign confused people into thinking it was a "Jaws" sequel. Universal had some concern because when "Great White" was released in Spain it WAS touted as a "Jaws" sequel and many movie goers bought a ticket under that assumption.

PG movies in the 70's/80's were a lot different than PG of today. There were many PG movies that contained gore and nudity (just not full frontal).
