If you are China national, a Taiwanese or Hongkongers , it's bad to insult your own fellow race. I am 100% Cantonese and I see only the positive aspects of other dialect groups. The Hakkas are hardworking, thrifty, and honest people. I patronise shops run by them because I know they never cheat or over-charge. In my multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-religious nation, we live in harmony and mutual respect for each other. You Chinese failed to unite and that's why were vulnerable to invasion.

China was weak and bullied by so many small nations like Japan and Britian because the Chinese can never be a united race like the Japanese. It is all because there are superficial people like you. Maybe you had an unpleasant encounter with a Hakka. I am Cantonese and was a Hakka lecturer insulted my language in front of the whole class. I was not offended but felt sorry for him. His behaviour exposed his deep-rooted inferiority complex and so to belittle others in order boost his self-esteem.

Cantonese is Great Modern Language, with Great Songs; whereas

Hakka is LOW-CLASS language with UGLY songs that sounds like SHIT!!

No wonder Cantonese Language become MAINSTREAM int'l Chinese language like Mandarin & Taiwanese.

Hakka language will FOREVER b sidelined even by Hakkas; as a language of uneducated peasants or hill-tribes peoples called "Guests/Kejia"

SINCE MAJORITY OF HAKKA CAME FROM GUANGDONG, THEY SHD ASSIMILATE & SPEAK CANTONESE INSTEAD.
