As much as I like Santana, Peter Green is God, and he shows it here. He plays beautiful, dignified solos, with incredibly soulful tones. Santana overplays here.

Peter Green - thanks for the song I fell in love to ... I prefer it YOUR WAY. Carlos "owns" it now, but it will always be YOURS. You were magic then and I'm glad to see you onstage now. No comparison, you're the MAGIC in this song and so many others. Love you, Peter!

I believe Peter Green and Carlos Santana have an interesting contrast and both played flawlessly. I am partial to Peter Green's playing as I am a huge fan.

Wow people. These are 2 AWESOME musicians coming together for a very rare performance and all I see are comparisons of the 2. Peter Green is Legendary as id Santana but lineage=respect and DONT FORGET IT

@RobPic914 Yeah, I agree. As much as I adore Santana, he let his ego get the best of him in this performance, or something, his timing isn't as great as usual and his tone is pretty rough.

Who knows, but I think Green at this stage was no longer too concerned with Rock 'N Roll worshippers...he had his day and was awsome indeed, it turned out great that Santanna could take this song into rock n' roll immortality, Peter just didn't have it at that time. Nothing wrong with letting somebody else carry a light that may be too bright (or heavy) for you at the time!

Sorry but does Peter Green even know the chords? He does nothing an average musical guitar player couldn't do. Carlos burns and explodes. Exciting. And Shrieve matches him on the kit. Awesome.
