@MrMyshed thanks travis. i am still going to do more work on such as rubber feet and a support under the motor to help dampen the vibration. its not finished yet. but it still works as it is. thanks again from Bob

handy tool bob love the zsip lock bag i do the same thing i went to a big effort to match my taps a dies with the rite drill it make things so much easer

@enganear thanks very much. soon i will add some rubber feet on the bottom plate i will get those feet from a old home stereo. i will also add a shim directly under the motor for more stability and sound damping. thanks again from Bob

The length and weight of the chuck and grinding pad are putting a strain on the front motor bearing. With your machining skills you could make an arbour for directly mounting your sanding disk to the motor shaft. Just got a cheap motor in Egypt so I'm going to play with that. Thanks for the vid.

I have used old mud flaps from a semi to make vibration and sound dampeners. Works pretty good cut to size.
