I haven't heard this since childhood. I still remember the words and melody, sung three times for the Trinity. Thanks for the beautiful rendition, just as it should be, simple and unadorned.

thank you for singing this song. this song was introduced at our daily mass and i had never heard it before. listening to you sing it over and over again has given me a great appreciation for this beautiful Lenten hymn. thank you

Thank god (!) I found this. I have to sing this tomorrow morning at a mass. I am a musical theater singer, so I was completely off with the pronunciation.
