TVRM 610 on the TAG..Last Steam Train to Kensington 9-21-08

In what could very well be the Last Steam train on the TAG (Tn Al Ga) railroad, TVRM 610 makes a surprise visit and struts her stuff through the Besutiful georgia mountains. This video will be a classic soon. I would love to think 610 or 630 would go back down the tag be it is very doubtful and unlikely. This video starts in Flintstone, Ga and ends in Kensington, Ga. Taken 9-21-08. The tag is VERY scenic and VERY PRETTY!!!!!

The whistle sounds like a Nathan Five Chime, I think. Regardless of whether it's a three chime or five chime, ITS SOUND is Beautiful. Stradivarius was barely the equal... [Three chimes had three whisles in one body, Five chimes had five whistles in one body.]

is this the whistle that used to be on th A&WP 290 when it ran on the New Georgia railroad back in the early 90s it sounds very simular to what used to make me run down and shoot pictures of passing my Aunt and Uncles old place outside Atlanta late 80 early 90s I fell in love with 290 I miss that one and 750 as well

@nicholasbreeden That is possible, but it'll most likely happen in late 2011, or sometime in 2012 since funds are hard to come by.

Unfortunately 4501 is not bein restored to service, due to lack of funds. However 630 will come out of the shop soon and 610 will go in the shop for 5 year inspection.
