No Doubt - Don't Speak (Bass Cover)

Most importantly: "Don't Speak" is a song recorded by the artist 'No Doubt' (Gwen Stefani) in 1995 under the recording label 'Interscope' - this fantastic bassline was done by Tony Kanal. I do not own this music, it is the property of these persons - content that is owned or licensed by UMG. I am publishing this as merely a bass instrumental cover, which would be purposeless without the original backing track. My intent is therefore for educational, recreational non-profitable purposes and I have no intention of causing any loss/damages, but rather consider myself promoting and freely advertising/publicizing this artist, therefore not intending to breach any copyright law. In fact, learning and performing these bass covers is my ultimate method of reaching a higher appreciation and enjoyment of the music, which is surely what the original artist wants every listener to reach after all?

Legalities asside, let's proceed shall we! :

Well, I haven't made a cover in almost a year now, which is to me terribly unacceptable... so I pretty much had to make one this weekend or I'd probably drive myself insane with that procrastination feeling, you know. 'Don't Speak' is one of my all-time favourite melodies, although I'm not at all as fond of Gwen Stefani's more recent solo stuff for the most part...
I plan to make these videos more often, and I hope I can convert that mere ambition into more results...

I equalized out the low-end from the original here, so pretty much all the bass you hear is my playing.

Just putting it out there that this was probably the 50239723th take, and stuff, so please understand that as the reason to why my movement might seem a bit bobby/repetitive, hehe xD lol... I also haven't performed much live so I'm not too experienced in that field anyways. I kept making some small mistakes that I wasn't happy to post, and this one was finally acceptable in audio terms, but not so crazy visually - but for me the music is first priority; visuals slightly lower right now ;)

Algo parecido a lo que hacés en la parte del solo de guitarra. Siempre a mi modesto entender y para confundirte con el original, mandale el apagado a las 3 negras, 5 corcheas y 3 semis que no ví en ningún cover. Saludos!

Ahora aprovechemos esos dedos largos que natura te dió. Es un punto fuerte para tu progreso. No sé si viste el cover de la chica en pijamas, los dedos le juegan en contra y el tema la lleva a ella, en contraposición a lo tuyo.Detalles: tenes capacidad para "apagar" algunas notas que te daría la cadencia que solicita Kano.

Nicely done, but the sliding part doesnt sound to clean though. overall amazing.
