These comparisons are pretty stupid. I'm a huge John Mayer fan but the styles are so completely different they can't be compared, Andy is quite unique.
Also, to learning Neon in a day? I don't think so, it took John years to get it right, but 95% of the youtube versions are bad sounding short cuts or just plain wrong.

@IamBakaSan he does not need a band, i didn't say that. his songs are great the way they are. but a band with this guy would be awesome! i mean, keyboards, maybe a violin... a drummer and a good slaping bass player. WOW!

i love john mayers music but comparing him to andy mckee, at least the guitar playing, is not realistic... it took me about a day to learn neon and about a month to learn drifting but then again, they are two COMPLETELY different types of music.... john mayer is more mainstream than john mayer and mckee only appeals to some people.... (i am not hating on either of them... just giving my opinion here)
