I loveeee kelis. She is soo original . Its sad that she doesnt get the praise she deserves for all the swag jacking . I see soo much of what kelis has done being used by other artist. Kelis was the first chick to cut her hair and dye it. Kelis is always a step ahead.

She is absolutely right. Segregation is alive and well. Unless you sing pop or electro-dance, you won't be given much of a chance. There are a few exceptions to that rule but those exceptions have all dabbed into pop or electro pop at one time or another during their careers.

I think Kelis is one the best artists of the past 10 years. Her work is no different from what Lady Gaga is putting out there. Plus, Acapella was a number one hit on the dance charts from her new album which is awesome by the way.
