my only quisten is why do your toms go low to high?

@dan5904 this is a cover, cover songs dont have to be exactly the same, take alot of nirvana covers or cage the elephant covers, they change it alot, covers allow you to play the song however you feel like.

This song is driving me crazy. I can only keep the tempo of the sixteenths going for a short time. Everyone says to stay relaxed but its difficult when i cant keep the tempo up. Any advice/tips would be appreciated

@vidassoc People do it all the time on the guitar but nobody say's boo, now because it's the skin's, it's not a cover anymore. B.S .. it's awesome man. It's a cover done in your style of playing. Remember though, dave would never let it get by him, that's an excerpt from there new documentary it's awesome, check it out

@whattahomo2 why are you pecker heads still trying to fight me on this? I've explained why I said what I said. And that was forever ago. So shut your mouth, grow some balls, and get on with your life.

@rocker9904 dave grohl and mike portnoy :)

@dan5904 go watch cobus, or 4espritdrummer, they are titled as "covers" yet they are not the EXACT beat and rhythm. This also applies to many songs on youtube that have been covered, so please, enlighten us and let us know what you would title a video like this.
no offense. but after reading your description of the video, I can't really call this a cover. if your not playing the actual beat and rhythm of the song as it was written, then your not really covering the song at all.

@dan5904 Interesting point. I don't disagree with you, you're just the first person to take the description so literally. Do you have a better name for covering a song, but improvising portions of it?

david grohl is easily the best multi-talented musician ever ( for writing everything by himself on "The colour and the Shape")

@rocker9904 Hard to argue against that. He takes a simple beat and makes it all his own, then turns into something that nobody else thought of. GREAT instincts.

does the x on your shirt mean you're straight edge or something? it looks sprayed on.
btw- great drumming! i'm just starting out, so watching drum covers is huge inspiration to me

@Longboarder140 I couldn't agree with you more. Any time that I feel like I am in a musical slump, a couple of good drumming videos always gets me excited to get back behind the kit and start woodshedding.
The shirt is a creation of my oldest daughter. The "X" is 2 drumsticks. The back has a caricature of me. I must have a dozen different drumming shirts. The latest is a parody of the Dunkin' Donuts logo, but the the 2 D's stand for "Drummer Dad".
