  • Even if a chef doesn't do this when you salt their food untasted... they really want to.

  • "I'm going back to my kitchen now, but GOD KNOWS WHY!!!" I totally forgot how funny this show was!! I may have to order the DVD set...

  • do you have any idea of the number of highly skilled man hours over a three day period have gone into producing this dish that arrives at your table at the zenith of its powers? Its taste, flavours, texture and temperature at the peak of perfection and without tasting it you call for SALT?!

    This has to be one of my top ten UK comedies of all time! xD

    Absolute classic :'}

  • @kinsmon123 to add it is normally accepted in an Italian restraunt that fresh black pepper is to be added to most dishes and fresh parmazan to others (hence why they offer it). However, adding salt to food without tasting it is the ultimate insult to any chef.

  • Before Chef Ramsey there was Chef!

  • @692ALBANNACH because if you are going to let's say a really posh 5 star restaurant (especially high end Italian restaurants), ALL meats are expected to be well seasoned and seasoned to perfection. If you add the salt it means someone in the kitchen fucked up but consider it is a really upscale restaurant with high end chefs, it would be rather disappointing that they didn't deliver. However if you do it BEFORE you even tasted it well that is just an insult to all the preparation than went in it

  • We chefs are always irritated by people asking for salt before the person taste it.

  • LENNY HENRYS ACTING AS HOW MOST CHEFS ARE TRULY FEELING.SO YES ZARIMUS,YOUR MOST RITE.LOL.

  • This is my favorite scene...I love it

  • And all this before Gordon Ramsay's Boiling Point! Spot on
